History of Manleys
  • 1984

    The Manley Group is formed.

  • 1986

    Manley Design Associates (MDA) is formed becoming one of the largest design houses in Northern Ireland.

  • 1989

    Manley Group partners with Richard Branson's Virgin Group to launch its Virgin Atlantic Holidays to Canada & USA.

  • 1990

    Tayto commissions MDA to design its packaging. A decade of packaging design builds brand awareness & profitable results.

  • 1993

    Manley Group’s Dublin office is opened.

  • 1996

    LEDU awards The Manley Group the 'Top 100 Fast Growth Small Business' award for 3 years sustained growth.

  • 1996

    Manley Group's subsidiary company, Creative Online Media (.COM) forms as a Joint Venture with Energis/Viridian, developing some of NI's first E-commerce sites for leading brands including Tayto, NITB and BT.

  • 1997

    Manley Communications is first to innovate a major supermarket own-brand magazine for Stewarts Group, equaling Number 1 in two months.

  • 1997

    Manley Communications wins Tesco advertising and Countrywide store refits as it enters Ireland.

  • 1998

    Manley Communications is awarded membership onto the prestigious BT National Design Roster in UK. The first NI Design House in the Top 8 Design Houses in UK.

  • 1999

    Within 3 years .COM becomes NI's largest Web Development Company.

  • 2000

    Manley Communications' Digital Media Division is rebranded Dimex, becoming Ireland's largest digital media design agency.

  • 2000

    At the turn of the millennium, Manley Communications evolves into ManleyIMC becoming the first and only fully integrated marketing communications offering to the marketplace.

  • 2002

    ManleyIMC is sold and Dimex relocates its offices to Knockbracken Health Park.

  • 2002

    All Ireland Power To Change Campaign spreads the word across Ireland.

  • 2005

    Manleys is awarded Premiere Programme's 10 years Excellence in recognition for Graduate Management Development Programme.

  • 2007

    Manleys is reborn through a Dimex rebrand, re-entering the marketing, branding and design sector.

  • 2008

    Lester Manley is appointed Visiting Professor, University of Ulster's Ulster Business School's Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Strategy.

  • 2008

    Manleys team takes an Explore, Learn and Team Building trip to Barcelona.

  • 2008

    Manleys launches the world's first mulit-lingual online teaching tool for autism.

  • 2009

    Manleys hosts a successful series of 'Buck The Trend' Breakfast Briefings to local businesses and entrepreneurs.

  • 2010

    Manleys creates its own unique 'World of Difference' (WOD) multimedia presentation bringing together all its in-house multimedia skills into a world-class multimedia.

  • 2010

    Manleys is awarded Belfast Business Top 50 Companies Recognition.

    Professor Lester Manley is Keynote Speaker at the Annual Law Society Conference in Budapest.
